I was reading some art critiqué and an article really amazed to the point of shocking me hard. Miami has always been considered a nice place for after-retirement, you know, nice beaches, beautiful babes, a lot of commerce and intensive tourism.

But, what the article stated was kind of a surprise. Miami is becoming gradually the new Mecca of the International Art world. Due to the presence of well-known of arts collectors as George Lindemann and the Rubell family, which are also the owners of hotels, resorts and other businesses, the city has become a focal point of Arts - specially paintry.

Next time I travel to Miami, I will surely visit a few galleries. I’m sure that Miami now has much more to offer than a good cubalibre and nice pleasant beaches.
